DETAILED DESIGN

Setting design parameters...

The detailed design phase allows the project concept phase to be further established and design parameters set.
Plans are created at scales appropriate to the tasks to be completed but are not created to stifle creativity - an important tool that will be utilised during the construction.

Computer planning...

AutoCAD production drawings are created to cover various aspects of the project, including site clearance, earthworks, setting-out, drainage, irrigation, seeding, landscape proposals, plus approximate contouring of green sites and other significant features.

All plans are supplemented with specifications and conditions outlining the information in the plans and instruction for the construction processes required to achieve the desired affect.

Combining technology and art...

Achieving the finished subtleties involved in golf course design requires time on site analysing the construction as it evolves from the ground, but this does not mean that detailed planning, and the accurate calculations that computer generated drawings allow, are not an important aspect of getting the basics correct.

Combining modern design technologies with the important art of being able to design key features onsite allows for the creation of a golf course that will be unique to its environment.

These key features will be more in-keeping with the uninhibited design process of the project concept stage whilst the construction matters are fully expanded using computer design.
